The archives acquires records that document Jewish life in BC. With over 320 linear metres of textual records, 325,000 photographs, and 900 oral history interviews documenting the history of hundreds of local Jewish organizations and close to a thousand Jewish families, the JMABC strives to make our archival holdings accessible in the interest of encouraging researchers to further document our community’s rich heritage.

The JMABC Archives welcomes donations of material pertaining to the history of Jews in BC. This can include photographs, organizational documents, letters, meeting minutes, and items of many varied forms.
