Does the "Occupy Wall Street" movement have strong connections to the Torah's vision of a just society, regulated capitalism, years of rest and re-set, and interest-free loans? If we continue on this path, where are we heading?

Rabbi Laura Duhan-Kaplan is the Rabbi for Or Shalom Synagogue, lecturer of religious studies at the University of British Columbia, and the 2001 Carnegie Foundation U.S. Professor of the Year. She is Vancouver’s first female pulpit Rabbi.
