The swearing in of our new Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, has generated much excitement and some nostalgia for the last time a Trudeau held the same seat.

In 1968, one of our regular volunteers arrived with her family from Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic). To their surprise, a few years later, they received a holiday card from none other than Prime Minister Trudeau. (Judging by the age of the children, it’s likely from the early 1980’s). We’re happy to share that card with you today.
