The BC Jewish Community Archives is the heart and soul of the JMABC.
Home to 325 linear meters of material, 325,000 photographs, and over 900 oral history interviews, this peerless collection documents the history of Jewish life in BC dating back to 1858. Each year we work with individuals, families, and organizations to grow the collection, ever striving towards a comprehensive understanding of our community history.
The archives form the basis of all JMABC public programs, including walking tours, publications, and exhibits, and are available to researchers worldwide through our website. Your support will ensure their continued growth and maintenance.
