Vancouver-based documentary photographer and artist Ronnie Tessler began her career in 1973, and exhibited her projects around North America for more than 15 years. Her artwork resides in a number of public collections, including the National Archives of Canada, the Canada Council Art Bank, and the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography.
This exhibit will feature her Rodeo series, taken as Tessler travelled throughout BC and Alberta in the late 1970s, documenting the action and the characters found at local rodeos with stunning sports photography and portraits. With your support we will share this breathtaking collection and highlight the skills of this uniquely Canadian Jewish artist.
