Genealogy Databases

family treeThe Jewish Museum and Archives of British Columbia, together with the Jewish Genealogical Institute of British Columbia, is pleased to announce that ancestry.com and findmypast.com are available in the Jewish Museum & Archives.  

These databases are available for anyone’s use free of charge, during the operating hours of the Jewish Museum and Archives of British Columbia.  A nominal charge will be made for document photocopies.  Researchers must book an appointment with the Archivist to use the programs.  Appointment will be booked in two hour blocks.  

For those researchers who feel that they need extra help with their genealogical research, representatives from the Jewish Genealogical Institute of British Columbia are available to assist with genealogical queries on the last Sunday of every month between 1:00pm and 4:00pm, by appointment only.
